The certificate, before they ask for it.
Groomers, daycares and boarding kennels all need the same piece of paper, and it is always on the phone of whoever went to the vet. Put it here once. Every shop you use can check it, you get told before anything expires, and you can take any of it back at any time.
Three things that should not still be happening
Asked for the same certificate, three times
The groomer, the daycare and the kennel each keep their own file, and none of them can see the others'.
You find out it expired at the door
Usually on the morning of a trip, with the car already packed.
You have no idea who can still see it
You emailed a photo to a shop in 2023. It is still in their inbox, and there is no button anywhere that takes it back.
What you get, free
No account, no password, no app to download. Enter the email you gave the shop and we send you a link.
One card per pet
Every vaccine, the date it was given, the date it runs out, and where each line came from.
Reminders before, not after
Usually 30 and 7 days out — each shop sets its own — and once more if a date does lapse. For records the shop has checked against the certificate.
A link you can hand to anyone
A dog walker, a sitter, a new groomer, a boarding kennel in another state. They see the card; they see nothing else.
Ask your clinic to confirm it
One email to the practice printed on the certificate. Their answer lands on the record, in their name.
Every share is yours, and you can take it back.
A record that travels between businesses is only useful if you decide where it goes. Ours does, and the controls are on the same page as the record — not in a support email.
- Sharing is off until you turn it on, per pet.
- Turn it off and the link stops working immediately — not at the end of the month.
- Replace the link and the old one dies, so a QR code you printed on a collar tag can be retired.
- You can see whether a link has been opened, and when it last was.
- Nothing about your pet is shown to a shop you have not sent it to.
Your phone number is never carried to a new facility. They can ask you for it at the desk.
We show the record. We do not vouch for it.
This matters more than it sounds, because the alternative is software that tells a business your dog is fine on the strength of a scan.
What it costs you
Free, permanently
The card, the reminders, the shareable link, and asking your clinic to confirm. All of it, for every pet, at no charge and with no card on file.

Questions people actually ask
Do I need an account?
No. Enter the email address you gave your groomer, daycare or kennel and we email you a link. There is no password to lose.
How did you get my pet's records?
From a business you already use. When a shop puts a record in VaxCheck under your email address, it is your record too — that is the whole point.
Can a business see my other pets, or my other shops?
No. Each business sees the pets and records on its own file for you. Sending records to a new facility copies the dates and the certificate photos and nothing else — not your phone number, and not the name of the facility they came from.
Can I stop a business from seeing my pet's records?
You control every share you created: turn it off and the link is dead immediately. A business you handed records to directly keeps its own file, the same as if you had emailed them a photo — ask them to delete it, and write to us if they will not.
Does this replace my vet?
No, and it is not a medical record. It holds what your vet already gave you, so you stop carrying it around as a photo in a camera roll.
What if the shop's record is wrong?
Every line shows where it came from, so a mistake is traceable rather than mysterious. You can ask the clinic that issued the certificate to confirm the record; their answer is recorded in their name, and a clinic saying "no" outranks anything anyone typed.
It is already there. Go and look.
