VaxCheck is operated by Vital Brands Inc. ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

From businesses: your email address, business name and phone number, and billing details handled by Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers.

From pet owners: the owner's name, email address and phone number (if provided), pet details, vaccine dates, and certificate photos — entered by the owner through a business's intake link.

How we use it

To show a business the vaccination status of pets in its care, to send vaccine-expiry reminders to pet owners on the business's behalf, and to run the service (authentication, billing, support). We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for advertising.

Text messages

SMS reminders are sent only to owners who have opted in on the intake form. Reply STOP to any message to opt out. Message and data rates may apply.

Where data lives

Data is stored with Supabase (database and file storage, encrypted at rest) and served by Vercel. Email is sent through Resend and SMS through Twilio. Payments are processed by Stripe. Each provider only receives the data needed for its function.

Who can see it

Certificate photos and records are visible only to the business account they were submitted to. Pet owners receive private links for their own pet only.

Retention and deletion

Records are kept while the business account is active. A business may delete pets and records at any time. To request deletion of your data as a pet owner, contact the business that holds it, or email us at the address below.
